Overview
At present, Chabad Center located at a rented office, and has one primary space that functions as the shul, the dining hall, the workshop space, the classroom, the kids' school, the meeting room and the party space. Often, within one evening, we have to shift the function of the space, forcing us to move furniture and alter the room set up while navigating the crowd. Every event we have to find another location, to host the community together. Needless to say, this is both challenging and exhausting.
Chabad PCB needs a house.
Thanks to community friends, we are going to have the opportunity we have been looking for almost 3 years. After Hurricane Michael, purchasing a space in Panama City Beach has become almost impossible. Our community wants to grow, we want to have more visitors and members, to offer more classes, to have more students, but the room is too small. Now we got the opportunity, non-returning opportunity to purchase a building, in central location, to serve the growing and vibrant Jewish Community in Panama City Beach. The current vision is to purchase that building and renovate at it in order to get more than 5,000 square feet facility.
We propose to accomplish with the following proposal.
